Flagron

Flagron is a browser adventure that strips the genre down to dodging hazards with a single defensive tool. It stands apart by giving you a rechargeable shield instead of a weapon, forcing you to rely on timing and positioning rather than aggression.

You use the arrow keys to move left and right to avoid incoming threats, and pressing and holding the space bar activates your shield. The core loop involves dodging obstacles while deciding exactly when to trigger this shield, since it is your only defense. You have three lives, so taking a hit isn't immediately fatal, but losing them all ends the run quickly. Every turn requires a split-second choice: keep moving to find a safe spot or stop and hold space to weather the attack.
