Hungry Beast

Hungry Beast is a straightforward hypercasual title where you control a growing creature by dragging it around the screen. The one mechanic that actually sets it apart is the strict movement tethering — your character cannot stop moving once you swipe, so you have to plan the entire path before your finger leaves the surface.

You start each session by swiping to guide the beast toward food scattered across the map. On Android, you use on-screen touch to swipe, while on PC you just use the mouse left click to swipe. Every turn requires you to choose a direction that avoids walls and enemies while keeping your momentum going. Since the swiping mechanic moves the beast continuously, you focus entirely on timing the start of each movement rather than micromanaging every step.

Casual players looking to kill ten minutes will like this because it is easy to pick up but punishes hesitation. Tip: Focus on the immediate three tiles in front of you during the first minute, rather than trying to plan a route across the entire map.
