PondHero

PondHero is a straightforward memory puzzle where you watch a path appear and then trace it from memory. Unlike standard grid puzzles, this one relies entirely on visual recall without a grid overlay to guide you. The challenge comes from the path preview mechanic, where you get one chance to see the route before it disappears.

A round starts by showing you a dotted line connecting two points on the screen. Once the path vanishes, you click along that exact route to connect the endpoints. The controls are purely mouse-based: just click where the line used to be. If you click correctly, the line reappears; stray clicks result in an immediate loss. You decide exactly where to place each point, trying to match the curvature and distance of the original path. The loop repeats with increasingly complex paths until you miss a click.

This is ideal for casual players or anyone looking to kill ten minutes without learning complex rules. It works well for both kids testing their memory and adults wanting a quick mental warm-up. Tip: Don't focus on the exact start and end points during the preview; instead, watch for the middle curve or any sharp turns, as those are the hardest parts to recreate accurately.
