Road Fixer

Road Fixer is a puzzle game about clearing paths rather than just filling them, and the distinction changes how you approach the screen. Instead of matching tiles, you manipulate machinery directly through color-coded connections between levers and obstacles. The orange twister mechanic is specific enough to make you stop and think before you click.

You use the mouse or tap to move controls, and every obstacle on the road is linked to a switch of the same color. An orange lever connects to an orange twister that requires you to twist it left or right to rotate the obstacle out of the way. Blue buttons must be pressed and held to keep specific barriers lowered while you navigate the route. Green sticks slide left or right, which you decide based on the gap you need to create for the vehicle. You constantly choose which mechanism to trigger first, as some interactions overlap.

This game is for casual players who want to kill ten minutes in a browser without learning complex key combinations. Kids and adults alike can pick it up because the visual cues are clear, but it still requires a bit of planning. Tip: Watch the entire road layout before touching anything, as moving the green stick too early might block the path needed for the blue button sequence.
